Terms of Service

All services provided by Mumford Connect Web Design may only be used for lawful purposes. The laws of the Province of Nova Scotia, and Canada apply.

Our Hosting services may only be used for lawful purposes. All sites hosted on our servers must abide by US and Canadian laws.

Adult sites and Online Pharmacy sites are not permitted. If inapproriate and/or illegal content is found the offending hosting account will be termintated immediately. Mumford Connect Web Design reserves the right to refuse hosting a site that Mumford Connect Web Design deems inappropriate or contains or links to illegal content.

The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Mumford Connect Web Design from any claims resulting from the use of our services.

Use of our services to infringe upon any copyright or trademark is prohibited. This includes but is not limited to unauthorized copying of music, books, photographs, or any other copyrighted work. The offer of sale of any counterfeit merchandise of a trademark holder will result in the immediate termination of your account. Any account found to be in violation of another’s copyright will be expeditiously removed, or access to the material disabled. Any account found to be in repeated violation of copyright laws will be suspended and/or terminated from our hosting. If you believe that your copyright or trademark is being infringed upon, please email info@mumfordconnect.com with the information required.

Zero Tolerance Spam Policy

We take a zero tolerance stance against sending of unsolicited e-mail, bulk emailing, and spam. “Safe lists”, purchased lists, and selling of lists will be treated as spam. Any user who sends out spam will have their account terminated with or without notice.

Sites advertised via SPAM (Spamvertised) may not be hosted on our servers. This provision includes, but is not limited to SPAM sent via fax, phone, postal mail, email, instant messaging, or usenet/newsgroups. No organization or entity listed in the ROKSO may be hosted on our servers. Any account which results in our IP space being blacklisted will be immediately suspended and/or terminated.

Mumford Connect Web Design reserves the right to require changes or disable as necessary any web site, account, database, or other component that does not comply with its established policies, or to make any such modifications in an emergency at its sole discretion.

Mumford Connect Web Design reserves the right to charge the holder of the account used to send any unsolicited e-mail a clean up fee or any charges incurred for blacklist removal. This cost of the clean up fee is entirely at the discretion of Mumford Connect Web Design.

Abuse and Misconduct

Prohibited Conduct
Users are expected to engage with our services in a respectful and constructive manner. The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

• Harassment: Any form of harassment, bullying, personal attacks, threatening language or intimidation towards our staff or other users.
• Threats: Making threats of violence or harm towards any individual or group.
• Discrimination: Engaging in discriminatory behavior based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic.
• Spam: Sending unsolicited communications or engaging in disruptive behavior that interferes with the normal operations of our services.

Consequences of Abuse
We take abusive behavior seriously and reserve the right to take appropriate action, which may include:

• Warning the user about the misconduct.
• Suspending or terminating access to our services without notice.
• Reporting the behavior to law enforcement if necessary.

No Tolerance Policy
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards abusive behavior and will take all necessary measures to ensure a safe and respectful environment for our clients and staff.
